An Inaugural Fundraising Event to Support The Bridge.

Odyssey will be one event this fall that you won’t want to miss. Odyssey will be an unprecedented multi-media experience that not only demonstrates all of the activities The Bridge has to offer, but also allows attendees to relive their teenage years through period décor, games, prizes, and live entertainment. The 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s will be depicted in different areas of The Bridge to show the evolution of teens through the years. Local teens who utilize The Bridge will be on hand to share their experiences and tell why such a facility is important to them. We are requesting donations of $150.00 per person, ($125 of which is tax deductible). The evening will conclude with a riveting performance showcasing teens today, and exploring the elements of live art, music, dance, and sport, that comprise so much of their culture. “A huge part of what we do for teens is create an experience that helps to shape their teen years. This entire event focuses on “the experience” we can create for adults, to help them understand who we are in a way that is fun, interactive, and engaging,” said Lindsay Matush, Development Director and event chairwoman.

Most importantly, we’d like to have you join us for Odyssey. If you’d like to donate in advance, we’re suggesting donations of up to $150/person ($125 of which is tax deductible). You may either directly pay the person who gave you tickets with a check made payable to “The Bridge,” mail a check payable to ‘The Bridge’ to 3405 S. Hammons Blvd., Joplin, MO 64804, or donate online. Or you can choose to enjoy Odyssey first, and determine after that time how you might partner with us. Thanks for your support!
